Close to a million Kenyans have already watched The Real Raila’s “Raila 2020” video. Some have asked for clarifications on the video which demonstrates what a future under Raila will look like, so we have created an accompanying explanation with links demonstrating why a Raila Odinga presidency will be such a disaster for Kenya and Kenyans.
Revoked the Constitution – He has stated on many occasions that he will change the Constitution for his own political purposes so who knows how far he is prepared to go.
This is a corruption zone – Raila and his NASA colleagues (Raila himself has called Mudavadi “irredeemably corrupt”) have been involved in numerous corruption scandals. Kalonzo has openly called his running mate, Raila, “corrupt”.
Violence fomented by Raila has given way to martial law – Raila has a history of using and calling for violence for political gain.
There is no money for clean water, education and farming – Having been MP for Kibera, Kenya’s biggest slum, for 20 years and Prime Minister for five years, he has an unparalleled record of financial mismanagement and grossly neglecting vital social services.
Women giving birth in the streets – Raila has stated that he will reverse development programs under the current government, including Uhuru’s groundbreaking free maternity healthcare programmes.
Disease rates – When Raila was MP of Kibera for twenty years, disease rates soared out of control.
Whole tribes and communities are removed from their homes – Raila has constantly talked about resettlement and redistribution, most recently making outrageous remarks in Kajiedo to the Masai which were universally condemned.
Food is scarce and people are begging in the street – Raila wants to waste billions on giving jobs to his political allies which will waste vital money from the tax payer’s purse. His record of food provision both as MP in Kibera and as Prime Minister is woeful.
The Railway tracks are left withering away – Raila has said he will halt any further work on the SGR.
The roads are scarred beyond repair – When Raila was Minister of Roads, very little was spent on increasing transportation infrastructure and many roads went into disuse.
Schools and Huduma Centers are empty – Raila has criticized the devolution efforts, and called to reverse successful education reforms, including taking away the almost 1 million laptops and tablets which have been dispersed to Kenya’s school children
Al Shabaab has control of North Eastern Kenya and has launched attacks all over the country – Raila has called for the KDF to immediately withdraw from Somalia even though the cross-border terrorist threat is very still very real.
All aid and partnerships are halted – When Raila Odinga was Prime Minister, foreign direct investment was at a mere 163 Million USD. Whereas for the last four years under Uhuru, is has been
1.44 Billion USD.
Kenya is isolated – There is genuine concern that Raila’s dictatorial and violent tendencies will isolate Kenya from the international community.
You decide if this becomes a reality on August 8th, 2017. Don’t let this happen to Kenya.
STOP RAILA, SAVE KENYA.
The future of Kenya is in YOUR hands.
