Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga’s former aide has sent him a chilling warning ahead of the August General Election.
Eliud Owalo said Raila will pay for the injustice he had carried out against him in Kibra constituency during the ODM primaries.
Owalo in a statement on Monday, May 1, seen by TUKO.co.ke, claimed Raila had personally organised the plot to rig him out of the primaries.
Owalo in his statement said he had evidence of the opposition leader’s plan to lock him out of Kibra race.
”I have information at my disposal that a decision had already been made by Raila himself a while back to block Owalo in Kibra based on issues which are already in the public domain,
”For the record, I repeat that I have no regret or apologies to make to anybody whatsoever for my past stand on Raila’s parochial political interests in Kibra,” Owalo said.
Owalo vowed he will now mind his own business and will not contest the seat come August 2017.
Owalo said he will be eagerly waiting for Raila’s results after the August Elections, where the ODM leader will pay dearly for his dictatorship.
”I’m however eagerly waiting for the results of the August 2017 Presidential elections in which I believe Raila will have no option but to come to terms with the sad reality that Malipo ni Hapa Hapa Duniani,” he said.
On Monday, May 1, Kibra MP Ken Okoth was declared the winner of the ODM primaries in the constituency, he will now defend his seat in the General Election slated for August.
Okoth, a favorite with the electorate, garnered 7,712 votes against Owalo’s 2,299 votes.
In 2014, Owalo withdrew his services from the defunct CORD claiming he was under constant attacks and pressure from Raila’s cousin and MP Jakoyo Midiwo.
The aspirant was then working as the head of CORD secretariat where he alleged Jakoyo was looking for unfettered political space near Raila.
